KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Competition
Barbecue. Barbeque. Bar-B-Que. BBQ. It doesn't matter how you spell it! All that matters is how well you cook it! Competing BBQ Teams spend the weekend slicing, seasoning and grilling pork, chicken and beef in anticipation that their cooking will earn them a share of the over $7,250 in cash prizes and of course the priceless bragging rights of the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS). The competition decisions lie in the hands of the KCBS certified professional judges. Except for that one special award, The People's Choice, solely judged by the People.
